Florida CAM Online is a newly built course provider. This website has been developed but is not yet launched: we are not enrolling students, not accepting payment, and not issuing certificates of completion. We are preparing our application for approval as a pre-licensure education provider under Rule 61E14-4.005, Florida Administrative Code. No course hours delivered through this site will be represented to any student as satisfying Florida's pre-licensure requirement until that approval is granted.

What we are seeking approval to offer
A single course: the 16-hour pre-licensure education required of every Florida Community Association Manager applicant before examination. Florida requires applicants to complete a minimum of 16 hours from an approved pre-licensure education provider within 12 months prior to passing the licensing examination (Rule 61E14-1.001, F.A.C.; DBPR form CAM 1). We do not currently offer continuing education, and we hold no CE provider approval under Rule 61E14-4.002.
Curriculum and hour allocation
The course is organised into six instructional modules plus a dedicated examination-preparation component. Hours are allocated across the subject areas a Community Association Manager is examined on, with weighting shown as a proportion of the state examination blueprint:

In addition to the modules above, the course includes 2 full-length timed practice examinations of 100 questions each, plus per-module mastery quizzes. Delivery method and seat-time controls
The course is delivered entirely online, asynchronously, through this website. The controls below are built into the course platform; the platform is currently in a pre-launch preview state and is not open to the public until approval is granted.
Students authenticate with an individual account tied to their enrolment; course content is not accessible without authentication, and accounts are not shared or transferable.
- Seat-time control.Each of the 25 lessons carries a required amount of active study time, allocated so the six modules total 16.0 hours. Time is counted only while the lesson is on screen and the student is active (input within the last 60 seconds); it pauses when the tab is hidden or the student is idle. Every 15 minutes an attention check pauses the clock until the student confirms they are present. The next lesson does not open until the current lesson's time is logged, and each module does not open until the preceding module's mastery quiz is passed.
- Server-side records.Seat time is credited by the server in capped increments — the student's device cannot report more time than has elapsed. Per-lesson seconds, attention checks, quiz and exam attempts (score, pass/fail, answers submitted), section completions, and certificate issuance are stored per student account with timestamps and retained as the record of participation.
- Assessment integrity. Quizzes and practice exams are graded on the server; answer keys are never sent to the browser.
- Identity. Enrolment is tied to the email supplied at registration; the certificate is issued in the legal name the student enters at completion, and cannot be altered afterwards.
Assessment and completion standards
- Each module ends with a mastery quiz that must be passed to proceed.
- Two full-length 100-question practice examinations mirror the format and timing of the state examination.
- Module quizzes pass at 80%; practice examinations pass at 75%, the state examination's benchmark. Both may be retaken.
- A certificate of completion is issued by the server only after every module, mastery quiz, and practice examination is complete and the full 16 hours of seat time are on record — never on partial completion, and never on request.
Certificates and record retention
Certificates of completion identify the student, the course, the completion date, the hours of recorded seat time, a unique certificate number, and our provider approval number once issued. Any certificate can be checked by number at floridacamonline.com/verify. Students can print or save their certificate as a PDF. Completion records are retained for [retention period — confirm against rule] and are available to the Department on request.
Content accuracy and review
Course content is written against the current text of Chapter 468, Part VIII (CAM licensing), Chapter 718 (condominiums), Chapter 719 (cooperatives), and Chapter 720 (homeowners' associations), Florida Statutes, and is reviewed after each legislative session. Content has been updated to reflect changes through the 2025 session, including HB 913.

- We will not represent the course as satisfying Florida's pre-licensure requirement until provider approval is granted, and we will display our approval number on the course page once issued.
- We do not guarantee examination results, and we make no claim about pass rates we have not measured.
- We do not reproduce state examination content. All practice questions are original material written for this course.
- We are a private education provider, independent of the Department and of the management companies referenced on this site.
